Higer Successfully Holds Higer V11 PRO Preview Event

As the story of Chinese buses going global shifts from scale expansion to value-driven growth”, Higer is marking this transformation with the launch of its brand-new high-end flagship V11 PRO in South Africa. On 9 July 2026, Higer, together with its South African partners HBCSA, hosted a pre‑launch preview event in South Africa for the V11 PRO luxury coach, the company’s new high-end flagship model. The event was a targeted occasion for leading operators in South Africa’s passenger transport and tourism sectors, who were invited to inspect the new demonstration coach and be the first to experience the product. The event not only laid a solid foundation for the local launch of the V11 PRO flagship model in South Africa, it also served as a strategic statement by Higer: After more than twenty years of intensive development in African markets, the company is moving from product export to value upgrading and from adaptive improvement to defining the benchmark.

This preview was organized as a small, high‑level, invitation‑only event. Its purpose was to engage in‑depth with premium local customers in South Africa ahead of the full market launch of the new model, to collect precise first‑hand operational feedback, and to refine the go‑to‑market strategy so that the vehicle design and configuration standards align closely with the real needs of South Africa’s passenger transport and tourism markets.


The Higer V11 PRO is a luxury flagship coach developed for high-end passenger services, business shuttles and premium tourism applications in South Africa. The model features the Higer smart cockpit; the seats on both sides of the aisle can be adjusted laterally to further increase usable space; ambient lighting, an on‑board fragrance system, high‑speed‑rail‑style pull‑down blackout blinds and ergonomic seats are all provided, significantly enhancing passenger comfort. Door anti‑misopening protection and a blind‑spot detection system further raise safety standards. During the event, guests were able to closely inspect the V11 PRO’s overall build quality, key component specifications and the complete high‑end customised interior package, gaining a direct impression of the comprehensive upgrades in comfort, safety and intelligent features offered by the new model.

In addition, in order to meet the requirements of laws and regulations such as 2021/1341/EU, 2023/2590/EU, ECE R151/R159/R158, the cameras and sensors installed on the vehicle are mainly used to collect video stream images for vehicle early warning to ensure vehicle safety, and will not collect any biological information from you. The data collected by such sensors will also not be used to track you or identify you personally. We will install monitoring systems in some vehicles as specified by customers/dealers, the ownership of the data in the monitoring system does not belong to us, and we will not process (including but not limited to collect, store, use, change, delete and other processing measures) any data in the monitoring system.

The ADDW or DDAW works without the use of biometric information, including face recognition of anyone in the vehicle. The system analyse the eyes information and driver's face information. These informations are only used to detect distraction features, and there will be no face recognition functions based on observed facial image, therefore it will not violate any personal privacy or security in the vehicle The system only records/deals with the data which is necessary to work within the closed loop system and only outputs warning signal, but it will not be involved in data storage and transmission. The system complies with GDPR regulations.

Typically,you provide this data to us, but in some cases, we may collect data about youfrom third parties or public records. We protect data obtained from such third parties in accordance with the practices described in this Privacy Statement.


2.    How do we use data

Wemay process the data we collect for the following purposes:
